For too long, uttering the phrase ‘CMS’ in relation to Magento has caused panic, fear and loathing for developers (and users), but those feelings are soon to be a thing of the past. This is not another Hyvä CMS demo! Instead, this talk delves into the history of CMS with Magento, the issues developers have traditionally faced and dives deep into what a good CMS should offer developers from a technical perspective. It covers experiences (and issues) with Page Builder and external CMSs, and provides insights, tips and best practices in relation to our new solution, Hyvä CMS, and why we decided to build it from the ground up. It will be equal parts educational, informative and therapeutic, as well as fun (with gifs/memes etc.)!

In this session, we’ll explore the specific needs of B2B users and how tailored order functions can boost user experience and conversion: From punchout catalogs, scheduled and automated orders, to quotations, quick order entry, spare parts lists, and complex product configurators.

We’ll look at how Magento can be extended to support these features and create a powerful B2B customer journey.

Jisse will show a new way in his presentation: For frontend purposes (among which the Loki Checkout) he created an open source library called "Loki Components" that allow Alpine.js components to easily linked to PHP-based tasks. And because this was already working solidly in the frontend, Jisse thought "why not migrate it to the backend as well"? The end-result is a new Loki Admin Components library with which you can create grids and forms, often with just a few simple lines of XML layout code. And if you want more, the API is simply enough to extend. Even better: It is way faster than regular UiComponents while it looks identical at first sight.
